Originally based in Washington, D.C., CityFolk is an acoustic folk group that plays music spanning from contemporary acoustic folk and pop music to country-folk music.

Currently residing in North Carolina, the group consists of Jane Muldoon-Smith (lead vocals and guitar), along with husband Peter Smith (lead and background vocals, lead 6 and 12 string guitars and guitar synthesizer) and now occasionally our daughter, Joanna, on upright bass.

Our repertoire includes such artists as Simon and Garfunkel, Peter, Paul and Mary, Cheryl Wheeler, Stan Rogers, Judy Collins, Kathy Mattea, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Dan Fogelberg, and Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
